- Thursday, November 10, 2016

On Oct. 26, students in grades 8-12 were invited to the “JUST BUILD IT!” Construction Career Expo conducted by the Washtenaw Contractors Association at the Eastern Michigan University Convocation Center.

The students were exposed to a host of segments from the skilled trades that included architecture, engineering, project management, the skilled building trades and more.

Representatives from the operating engineers, IBEW, carpenters & millwrights, plumbers & pipefitters, roofers, cement masons & plasterers, laborers and bricklayers & allied craftworkers all attended the event.
